Kira Taban was a Bajoran male who lived during the 24th century. He was the husband of Kira Meru. They had two sons, Kira Pohl and Kira Reon, and a daughter, Kira Nerys. In the 2340s, he lived with his family at the Singha refugee camp. Taban was killed by the Cardassians in the 2360s. (DS9 episode: "Ties of Blood and Water")
