The MMA cousin to the Imperial Star Destroyer or MC90, the Black Lion-class Heavy Cruiser is heavily armed and armored. It adopts the same general shape as its Imperial counterpart, as well as being larger, the extra space being used by a larger cargo and hangar area as well as extra weaponry. As with all MMA-produced combat vessels, the ship features the innovative harjel repair system, a set of backup shields rated at one-third the power of the ship's standard shields, and the new PDS in addition to the ship's standard weaponry and defenses.
