Ranking among the major Underdark domains, Old Shanatar has the most artificial delvings, halls and passages, including works of amazingly huge scale. The domain stretches for hundreds of miles beneath Amn, Tethyr and Calimshan. Just like The Northdark, Old Shanatar has been reasonably well explored and mapped by both its inhabitants and adventurers alike.
