Shania was one of Fiz Stape's inmates at Norcross Prison when the latter was incarcerated in 2011. After telling the governor about inmate Ruth Walsh's prison drug dealing, Fiz got a place in the mother and baby unit where Shania worked. Shania was aware of this and intimidated her, dropping books close to Fiz's baby daughter Hope when she left her unattended. Fiz warned her to leave her and Hope. The incident caused Fiz to ask her liaison officer if she could be transferred to another prison since she didn't feel safe where she was hated. Along with other inmates, Shania trashed Fiz's cell.
