The Bothrium Beast was a non-sentient creature found in the Rooted Depths of the planet Oricon. During the Dread War in 3639 BBY this creature was responsible for spreading corruption across Oricon in the form of Tendrils. A spacer recovered several devices from Dread Guard members in the vicinity of the Rooted Depths and used them to locate the Bothrium Beast's lair. They then confronted and killed the creature.
