Macclenny, headquarters of Baker County, Florida, is a small city in population terms. But it deserves and gets good efficient local government (from Mayor Gary Dopson, M.D., downwards) and a fairly fair share of state and federal resources. The City Council meets at City Hall on the second Tuesday of every month.
