Dennis Aragon was chosen by the Dragon Star Beast (living embodiment of the constellation Draco) to wield its powers of Space as the Black Star Beast Ranger. He was the first Star Beast Ranger, but he was captured and imprisoned in a stasis crystal by the Onyx Star Legion. While in stasis, the Onyx Star legion drained Dennis's power to supercharge Lykarion the Shadow Wolf so the villain could defeat the Star Beast Rangers. But with help of the other Rangers, Black Ranger was able to free himself and join the team. He is the uncle to Kory Aragon.
