Chief Hardy is the chief of the Federation Police. He is depicted in the Super Metroid comic and the Metroid Manga. He is pictured as a short, overweight, mustachioed man with a receding hairline, who is constantly stuffing his face with some type of sandwich (the reason for his being overweight). Chief Hardy also appears in the Super Metroid Nintendo Player's Guide, in panels taken from the Super Metroid comic.
