Paraclamp is a red Koopa Paratroopa with an iron grip. He betrayed Bowser several years before he met Mario. He appears in after Mario enlists his, Slash's, and Leon's help. He is slightly unusual because his shoes are blue, wheras usual koopa shoes are black and/or red. The farther the story progresses, the more info will be revealed about him.
