Colonel Samuel "Sam" Flagg was a military intelligence officer who served in the United States Army during the Korean War of 1950 to 1953. He was a recurring character on the 1970's and 1980's situation comedy M*A*S*H*, and a recurring adversary to the medics of the 4077th. Starting out as a nearly psychotic, jingoistic monster, over the years he sadly devolved into an ineffectual buffoon. He was portrayed by Edward Winter.
