Dark Link first appeared in Part Seven of Heroes of Destiny. Ganondorf had hired him to kill Link. He fought Link in the Entrance Hall of Hyrule Castle, but was defeated when Link stabbed him in the stomach. He returns in The Raging Sapphire as Vaati's second-in-command.
