The Reman Empire, sometimes referred to as the Cyrodiilic Empire or Empire of Cyrodiil, the Second Empire of Men, or simply the Second Empire, was unofficially formed in the year 1E 2703 after Reman Cyrodiil defeated the invading Akaviri horde and incorporated High Rock and Skyrim under the reign of a reunited Cyrodiil. The Empire is often viewed as the heavenly ordained successor to the Alessian Empire, with the Reman Dynasty claiming lineage to Saint Alessia herself.
