Whereas most of the weapons in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are of use in combat, the replica weapons are completely useless. Most replica items are found in royalty display cases, usually with very hard locks. They are also found in some Ayleid Ruins. These items look exactly like the real item and are simply there for cosmetic and decorative purposes. Some guild halls also display Ceremonial Armor—these are also replicas.
