David Barron is a United States Attorney. According to Booth, Barron was once married to prosecutor Caroline Julian with whom he shares a daughter who is in her second year at MIT during The Man in the Mansion. During the same episode, its shown that despite being divorced and enemies in the courtroom, they are still able to maintain a very healthy relationship outside of it. He is the same attorney who helped Temperance Brennan and Russ Brennan prevent their father, Max Keenan, from undergoing the death penalty for the murder of FBI Deputy Director Robert Kirby in The Verdict in the Story.
