Peter Jago is a puppeteer who also wrote a few episodes of The Sooty Show in the mid 1980's and co-wrote some of the shows filmed in front of a live studio audience with Matthew Corbett in the early 1980's. He also made a guest star as the window cleaner in the episode Sherlock Sooty.
