Ms. Chavez is a prosecutor with the U.S. attorney's office. In May of 1992, she investigated FBI agent Eleanor Wish. She interviewed Harry Bosch in his hospital room to confirm Wish's version of the murder of Edward Niese. Chavez discloses to Bosch that Wish will be making a plea deal for a reduced prison sentence.
