His species seems to be immortal, and he claims that he has never been a child. Additionally, the other Valhallans are only vaguely familiar with the concept of childhood. Despite his strength and bravery, Thor is a naïve and not particularly bright fellow. When drunk he can become easily insecure about his own ability to defeat the Frost Giants.
