Traver Wood was a Human male smuggler born on Coruscant in 3,676 BBY. Born to a wealthy family, he grew to love his mother and despise his father. His mother died early in his life, and after the funeral, his father quickly remarried. He left and joined the crew of a cargo freighter - which was actually a smuggler ship. He stayed with them until he had the money to purchase his own ship, the Goddess of Mercy. He eventually came into contact with the Brotherhood of Swordmasters, and he stuck with them until it collapsed. He became acquainted with Varik Athzaria and Kif Lomuta.
