The largest crab, Funucaris, meaning Corpse-crab, grew up to eight inches across the carapa ce. Strong pincers with sharp bladed edges sliced meat away from bone but could also manipulate small morsels with suprising grace and delicacy when picking the very last scraps from a skeleton.
