This is the QBZ-95 (Qing Buqiang Zidong QBZ-95 Light Rifle Family), the main service rifle of the Peoples Liberation Army Ground Forces. The QBZ-95 is a bullpup rifle (meaning the trigger is in front of the magazine) which fires the 5.8x42mm round used by China. A later version was made to fire the NATO 5.56x45 round, which is more successful commercially, due to the availability of the 5.56 round.
