Banksnout was a male shrew under Log-a-Log Big Club's command. He was one of the shrews who were taken as galley slaves by Ripfang. However when the searats attacked Salamandastron, they left the ship unguarded and the slaves were freed. Banksnout was presumed to be agile, as he was mentioned only briefly in a order, which was to shinny up a mast of a ship.
