The Ocean of the South is a large, open body of water in which the island of Deltora lies. It is bordered by the Silver Sea to the west and the Sea of Serpents to the east. The borders of the Ocean of the South and the Silver Sea meets just off to Deltora's west coast, while the border of the Sea of Serpents meets the border of the Ocean of the South just off the coast to Deltora's south.
