When a plague-infected Tarellian starship approached Haven, she pleaded with Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise-D to destroy the ship before it could infect the planet. (TNG: "Haven" ) Valeda Innis was played by actress Anna Katarina. She was described in the script as "A handsome, raven-haired woman [...], wearing a sheer, silky kimono-like garment that embodies the pleasure of the world she governs."
