Bernd is a Skuxxoid - an intelligent reptilian alien that often sells his services to the highest bidder as a mercenary for credits. He has scaly skin and is nearly as large as the average Transformer. He tends to use large asteroid ships as their primary mode of transport, and space sleds for short hops. Bernd is quick to demand bonuses for services rendered, threatening to shoot or sue if not properly paid, depending on what he thinks will work. He claims that he does only mercenary work to feed his wife and children, but whether that's true or not is known only to him.
