During the course of the Galactic Civil War, billions more of Spar's Crusaders would be created, trained, and deployed to fight in the war. Billions of Spar's Crusaders were killed during the war, but the clone supply did not waver nor deplete on Koshi. By 20 ABY, after the fall of the Empire, Alpha Ø2 was killed by his so-called niece Ailyn Vel who mistook the clone for her father Boba Fett. After his death, the Crusaders were lead by their second-in-command and close friend to Alpha Ø2: Mereel Fett.
