Mwaerno (meaning ‘rain clouds’) is a Gwani warrior and Baiyanda's mate. He and Bwundai were the first two Gwani to greet the Avatar outside the village in Ultima VII Part Two. However, his grasp of the English language was weak, and so he told the Avatar to speak to Yenani for information. He was murdered by Hazard, when he slaughtered the tribe days later.
