Wolves of the Calla is the fifth book in The Dark Tower Series, published in 2003. The subtitle for this book is RESISTANCE. The book is heavily influenced by Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai and John Sturges' The Magnificent Seven. In fact, Sturges was the source of the name, Calla Bryn Sturgis.
