The Aschen are a group of humans who use biological weapons to defeat their enemies, often through stealth and subversion. They command a vast confederation of planets that has seen its power and influence greatly expanded at the end of the Der'kal Invasion. Notorious for the lengths they will go to in order to achieve their goals, the Tau'ri consider the Aschen to be among the most villainous races in the galaxy.
