A wrinkle was a fold of skin often present in old age. It could also refer to a fold in fabric. The noses of Bajorans were sometimes described as wrinkled. (DS9: "Waltz", "Chimera") In 2371, while receiving a hug from Quark, Grand Nagus Zek told the bartender that he was wrinkling Zek's suit. (DS9: "Prophet Motive") In 2372, the Kazon Kar asked Chakotay if he would rather die in his sleep as a wrinkled old man than be killed in battle. Chakotay agreed he preferred the former. Later, Kar admonished him to do what he said if he really wanted to die old and wrinkled. (VOY: "Initiations")
