Bhante Dhammanando is originally from the United Kingdom. He is a Theravādin bhikkhu, ordained on 1st February 2004 at Wat Benchamabophitr, Bangkok, Thailand, with Ven. Chao Khun Thong Suvaṇṇasāro as preceptor. He currently resides at a temple in Dusit, Bangkok, Thailand. He was one of the moderators and a regular contributor to E-Sangha, formerly the largest English language Buddhist online forum. Currently he is a regular contributor and Global Moderator to the Dhamma Wheel online forum, the sister site of The Dhamma Encyclopedia.
