Val'kyr Battle-maidens watch over fresh death knights atop Acherus: The Ebon Hold alongside the Lich King. When death knights die in the instanced area around the Scarlet Enclave, they will come and resurrect the slain. (Once every 10 minutes.) During the Battle for the Ebon Hold shortly after the death knights are freed, they are level 60 elite enemies aiding Scourge remains. They also replace the normal Spirit Healers while in the Zone.
