Saugus was an industrial city near Los Angeles, California. It was roughly half an hour's drive from Downtown Los Angeles, located east of Interstate 5. ("Day 1: 6:00pm-7:00pm") An expansive tract of land in Saugus, located at 21911 Kipling Avenue, was once used as one of Strategic Air Command's Nike antiaircraft missile sites. The property was later purchased by the Fish and Game Department and supposedly converted into the Saugus Wildlife Preserve. In truth, the missile bunker was converted into a top-secret detention facility as part of the Department of Defense's Mobile Underground Detention and Detainment network.
