In 2018, several children, who were homeless vagrants from various parts of the world, had been abducted by local gangs with ties to Desperado and World Marshal for the latter's Sears Program, and presumably to harvest the other organs besides their brains. Although the majority of them had been converted to cyborgs via brain surgery, 11 of the children from the second batch, including the Guyanese child named George, had not been harvested by the time the PMSC Maverick Security Consulting, Inc. arrived to investigate their lab in Guadalajara, Mexico.
