Joy Blakeman played four roles in Coronation Street: * Marie Ramsden, mother of toddler Jamie who was involved in a custody battle for her son who she had previously abandoned. Helped in her quest for accommodation by Don Brennan, she appeared between February and December 1990. * Jayne Reid, a nurse at the rape centre where Toyah Battersby was taken after she was attacked in April 2001. * Mel Hornsey, a crisis worker at the St. Martha's Centre, who dealt with Carla Connor following her own rape ordeal in September 2011. * Amanda Dewhurst, a specialist nurse who came to observe Max Turner at his home and school in September 2014.
