The 1928-1994 flag of South Africa, sometimes called Prinsevlag, was an equal horizontal tricolour of orange, white, and blue. In the centre of the flag was an emblem consisting of the flags of the United Kingdom, the Orange Free State (in its vertical position), and Transvaal.
