Anoeza Watkins was a Starfleet hospital corpsman with mixed human and Betazoid ancestry, part of the USS Bajor's medical department beginning in 2409. Watkins had limited telepathic abilities and was mostly only able to pick up strong surface emotions. This proved an aid to her bedside manner but wasn't particularly useful otherwise.
