The Hall of the Lord of the Dead is the throne room of Samhain. The Sea of Souls surrounds his throne. The Hall is the place where the spirits of the newly dead complete their journey and meet Death himself. No living man (other than Alexander), has ever entered the presence of Samhain and lived to tell the tale. The Lord tolerates no living flesh in his kingdom of eternal sleep.
