Screecher is a Swooper, and a partner in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door 2. He was a member of the Wings of Night in the Glitz Pit before they retired. He was living in Glitzville when he met Mario on a search for the Yoshi Kid. Since the Yoshi Kid had to defend his title as a champion, Screecher was asked to take up the job instead. He was wary at first, but when he learned the planet was at stake, he accepted instantly.
