The giant catfish is one of the few river pool fish in Animal Forest, Animal Crossing and Animal Forest e+. It sells for 3,000 Bells. The fish appears between 4 PM and 9 AM, during the months of June, July, August, and September. It is the larger counterpart of the more common catfish. If it drifts too far down the river into the next acre it will eventually disappear, like other pond fish.
