Server collaborated with Star Trek II sound mixer Jim Alexander on four other films: the aforementioned Ghost Story, the 1983 romantic comedy drama Terms of Endearment (featuring art direction by Harold Michelson and set decoration by Tom Pedigo), and the 1985 films Weird Science (featuring Michael Berryman, with cinematography by Matthew F. Leonetti) and Murphy's Romance (featuring Bruce French). Server was a boom operator on Terms of Endearment, and sound recordist on Weird Science, and a cable person on Murphy's Romance.
