Pokémon Z Version (Japanese: ポケットモンスターＺ Pocket Monsters Z) is the third game to Pokémon X and Y, and is the third Generation VI main series game. The game was first seen on May 13, 2013 when a low-resolution cell-phone picture of an upcoming issue of CoroCoro magazine was leaked around the Internet. On December 17, the magazine was officially released and the game was also officially during a worldwide announcement by Reggie Fils-Aime through Nintendo Direct at 8 pm JST. The game was released worldwide (except for select countries) on July 4, 2014, along with CoalRuby and TideSapphire and is available for both retail sale and download.
