The Custom Mustang is a Hot Wheels casting designed by Harry Bradley, and was based on the the 1967 Ford Mustang. The Custom Mustang debuted in the 1968 Basic Car line as part of the Original 16 castings. The original tool was only used in the 1968 mainline and was never used again. The Custom Mustang tool was recreated in 1994 for the Vintage Series II. Note* Newer versions of the Mustang Stocker also use the Custom Mustang name
