When Dark-Crawler was originally known as Night-Crawler, he was an ancient enemy of a group of deities known as the Undying Ones. A cult that worshiped the Undying Ones sent the Hulk to his dimension hoping the Hulk would destroy him. The battle that followed destroyed Dark-Crawler's realm and they was sucked into the Undying Ones' dimension. Hulk battled the demons and defeated their leader known as the Nameless One and became the ruler of the Undying Ones. Night-Crawler changed his name to Dark-Crawler.
