King of Buruna is a title dating from the 1877OT Treaty of Seven which gave the rulers of Buruna the right to call themselves Kings as a concession given that the treaty eroded somewhat Buruna's influence over Shakista. Prior to that date the rulers of Buruna were Princes of the Royal House.
