Ozlo was a Mon Calamari Jedi Knight. In 40 ABY, while still young, he was among those Jedi at the Ossus Academy when the Galactic Alliance Guard attempted to "secure" it, holding the students hostage. Ozlo, unarmed, was able to resist a coma-gas attack on the part of GAG troopers, but when GAG major Salle Serpa began torturing Jedi Master Tionne Solusar to provoke the Jedi into attack, Ozlo stormed out from hiding to aid her, and was cut down by GAG snipers with multiple shots to the head.
