During his time at the DMLE, he was close friends with Nigel Weasley, a Healer at St. Mungos whom he befriended whilst on a case searching for a serial killer within the ranks of the hospital's healers. Weasley would later join Potter as his partner and the duo would serve the Department of Magical Law Enforcement for a decade. During this time Potter became acquainted with Elise Fleamont, a notorious adventuress and thief; the two became romantically linked after a case involving the Bulgarian Minister for Magic. After their largest case with the DMLE involving the hunt for Lord Darius Travers, a dark wizard and member of the Wizengamot who attempted to overthrow the Ministry and conquer Muggle Britain, William and Elise married. Potter was convinced that Lord Travis was being played behi
