The galaxy is home to more than 400 billion stars, 5% of which have planets inhabited by forms of life. Sapience evolved in 0.1% of these worlds, leaving a total of about 20 million different sapient species, including Humans; the most numerous and politically important, and which may or may not have originated in the galaxy. Notable planets and moons of the galaxy include: Coruscant (the political hub of the galaxy), Alderaan (recently destroyed), Alzoc III, Bespin, Brodo Asogi, Cerea, Cholganna, Clak’dor VII, Dagobah, Dathomir, Endor, Hoth, Naboo, Orto, Tatooine, Tibrin, Toydaria, Trindello, Troiken, Tynna, Utapau, Varl, Vodran and Yavin IV, among many others.
