Sanes is a member of the Military Police Brigade. He is part of the first squad and comes from the interior Capital. He tortures and murders Pastor Nick along with his partenr, Ralph. He is an individual who holds a strong sense of loyalty to the king and keeping the security of the walls, to the point of adhering to the murder and torture of others regardless of who they are to maintain peace. Later they are both betrayed by Dimo Reeves and captured by the Survey Corps. After being tortured he reveals that the Reiss family is actually the real royal family. Sanes is later put in the same cell as Ralph.
