The RG2727FZ features a mahogany body with flamed maple top, a Wizard-7 neck and a rosewood fretboard. Other features include Dimarzio/IBZ pickups and the Edge Zero 7 tremolo bridge. This model was succeeded in 2015 by the RG2727FZA, which uses different pickups but is otherwise very similar.
