The Theatre Royal was an Irish music hall in Dublin. It was also known as the Tivoli. Indiana Jones attended the Theatre Royal in 1916 with Maggie Lemass, her brother Sean and their friend Nuala to see a musical matinée. When Jones later told Sean O'Casey about the trip to the Theatre Royal, the playwright expressed his disdain towards the type of productions staged in the theater, calling it a phony lie.
